Swizzler was founded in the nation’s Capital in 2014

but our story begins two years earlier...

We were juniors at Wake Forest University looking for a way to make some extra money to get down to Rio for the 2014 World Cup. We had an idea for a new “twist” on the classic hot dog and thought it might be our ticket down to Brazil.

Later that semester one of our professors issued a class-wide challenge: launch a venture on campus over a three-day period and present the results.  We entered enthusiastically, ended up winning, and realized our concept had more potential than just airfare.

The original goal, though, was not forgotten...

The Swizzler Team

Ben Ben hails from Northern Virginia (#HTTR) and his passion for nutrition and food is only surpassed by his innate Tetris-like skill set for packing up trunks on road trips and planning events.  BJ takes the lead on all things marketing and menu development.

Zim For Zim, home is Old Greenwich, CT. He lives for last minute trips, racking up points on duolingo, late night brainstorming sessions, and TCOB (Taking Care Of Business).  As CEO, Jack jumps at the opportunity to get his hands dirty and keeps the Swizz tribe on track.

Jesse Jesse was born and raised in glorious Central New Jersey.  He is addicted to good ideas (can you say Ted Talks?), inspiring authors, getting lost a world away, and well-timed movie quotes.  Other than using his gift of gab to spread the Swizzler gospel, the J Dawg works tirelessly to optimize Swizzler’s day-to-day operations using all the data he can find—like your feedback!

Beau

Our dog Beau is an absolute stud. His love for walks is topped by his addiction to baby carrots and macintosh apples. This is his “why aren’t you giving me a carrot?” face, we call it blue steel for short.
